Coastal acoustic tomography is similar to medical CT. It uses the propagation time information of acoustic signals in seawater to obtain the flow field and temperature field structure in the target area. Compared with the traditional flow measurement method, the coastal acoustic tomography can only place a few stations around the observation area to achieve long-term, continuous and large-area flow field and temperature field observation, and has little impact on human activities such as fishery and shipping. It has obvious technical advantages and progressiveness in long-term monitoring of large-area flow field and temperature field.
