Yichang Science and Technology Business Incubator Association was established

On March 23, 2017, Yichang Science and Technology Business Incubator Association was officially launched and established in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center of Yichang High-tech Zone, and held the first general meeting. More than 120 representatives from relevant committees and offices of Yichang Municipal Government, incubators, maker spaces, higher vocational colleges, innovation and entrepreneurship platforms, leading enterprises, financial institutions, foreign investment and service institutions attended the founding meeting of the Association.

Yichang Association of Science and Technology Business Incubators was jointly founded by relevant incubation platforms, enterprises and scientific research institutions engaged in science and technology services. The scope of the initiators covers entrepreneurship incubation services, research and development testing services, technology transfer services, intellectual property services, science and technology consulting services, science and technology financial services and other fields, aiming to build a platform for science and technology service industry services, coordination and self-discipline, Strengthen cooperation and exchange between incubators and leading enterprises, universities, scientific research, venture capital and other institutions, establish information communication channels, integrate incubation resources, provide diversified service projects, realize social resource sharing, maximize the social value of small and medium-sized enterprises in Yichang and promote their healthy, rapid and leapfrog growth.

The first general meeting of the Association voted to adopt the election method, draft articles of association and membership fee management method of the Association. The meeting recommended Feng Horu, director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center of Yichang High-tech Zone, as the honorary president, He Zhiheng, general manager of Yichang Cloud Computing Incubator, as the president, and Zhang Aihua, general manager of Star of Enlightenment (Yichang) Technology Business Incubator Co., Ltd., as the secretary general of the association. Six units, including Heyi Incubator, Sensor IOT Incubator, Yilian Science and Technology Park, Taipingbird Creative Park, KuX Coffee, and Xiling District Hi-tech Industry Incubation Center, were elected as vice president units. Seven units including the Three Gorges University Science and Technology Enterprise Incubator, Yichang Immigrant Youth Entrepreneurship Incubator, Changyang Baguo Huizhi Park Science and Technology Enterprise Incubator, Maker Space Incubator, Yichang Juncheng Science and Technology Service Co., Ltd., Yichang Youfuhui Information Consulting Co., Ltd., Yichang Yiqiao Guorui Finance and Tax Consulting Co., Ltd. were elected as the governing units.

Subsequently, a seminar on "Innovation and Development of Incubators" was held. Up to now, Yichang Science and Technology Business Incubator Association has joined more than 50 member units. Among them, there are 33 incubators and maker spaces in Yichang, 2 incubators outside the city, 5 municipal vocational colleges, and 10 municipal incubation platforms and service institutions. Among the members of the association, not only the leading enterprises engaged in the operation and management of incubators in Yichang, the scientific and technological service institutions and the elites from all walks of life who are keen on the business of incubators, but also the chairman units of Yichang Online Businessmen Association, Yichang Industrial Design Association, Yichang Internet of Things Association, and Yichang Young Entrepreneurs Association. The establishment of the association will effectively guide the sustainable and healthy development of Yichang incubators in accordance with the requirements of marketization, specialization, differentiation and internationalization.
